Diploma in Information Technology?

Delivered through LCHS Pakistan, the OTHM Level 4 & 5 Extended Diploma in Information Technology is a two-year, Ofqual-regulated UK qualification designed to develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required for today’s fast-growing digital economy. The aim of this unit is to give learners an understanding of software development and its evolution as an engineering discipline, and to develop,
maintain, and evolve software systems of high quality.

Database Systems

The aim of this unit is to provide learners with knowledge in database systems development and enable them to develop strong database design
and development skills.

Advanced Systems Analysis and Design

The aim of this unit is to provide learners with a deep understanding of the activities of the systems analyst and systems designer, and to be able
to apply some current techniques.

Management Information Systems

This unit explores how organisations use secure information systems to support business operations, improve productivity, and enhance competitiveness in the global marketplace.

Network Information Systems Making

This unit develops skills in planning, configuring, managing, and securing computer networks, covering LAN, PAN, MAN, WAN, network monitoring, protocols, and standards.

IT Project Management

This unit develops skills in planning and managing IT projects to implement systems and support operational and strategic change within organisations.

Academic Qualifications

For Level 4 entry, applicants typically hold one of the following:

English Proficiency

Applicants must demonstrate competency in English. Acceptable evidence includes:

Mature Applicants
